A Community Bookshelf

Books, podcasts, and resources shared along the way

One of the gifts of being a therapist is the opportunity to learn from the people I work with. Over the years, clients and colleagues have shared books, podcasts, and resources that have offered comfort, insight, encouragement, and new perspectives.

This Community Bookshelf is a growing collection of those recommendations.

These resources explore themes that often arise in therapy and in life: navigating change, understanding ourselves, strengthening relationships, caring for others, moving through grief, and finding greater compassion for ourselves.

I love that this collection includes both fiction and nonfiction. Sometimes a book helps us understand our experiences through research and new information. Sometimes a story helps us recognize ourselves in another person's journey. Sometimes a podcast conversation reminds us that we are not alone.

These resources are not therapy assignments or a replacement for therapy. They are invitations to explore ideas, stories, and conversations that others have found meaningful.

I hope you find something here that sparks curiosity, offers support, or helps you feel a little more understood.

Helpful Resources & Community Supports

Sometimes support comes not only through books and conversations, but through organizations and communities that help people navigate challenging seasons.

Have a resource that has stayed with you?

This bookshelf continues to grow because people share the books, podcasts, and resources that have mattered to them.

If we work together and there is a book, podcast, or resource that has been meaningful in your life, I would love to hear about it. Sometimes a story, idea, or conversation arrives at exactly the right time.
