My Style
Therapy works best when it feels like a grounded, real conversation—one where you don’t have to perform, explain everything perfectly, or already know what to say.
My style is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your needs. We focus less on “fixing” you and more on helping you understand what you’re experiencing and find new ways to respond to it.
How I Work
People come to therapy for many reasons—life transitions, anxiety, caregiving stress, or experiences that still feel emotionally present.
Whatever brings you in, we start there.
You can expect therapy to be:
Supportive and nonjudgmental
Collaborative and paced at your comfort level
Focused on what matters most to you
Practical, while also making space for emotion
You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting.
My Therapeutic Approach
I draw from several evidence-based approaches, depending on your needs:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Helps you relate differently to difficult thoughts and emotions while focusing on what matters most in your life.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Explores how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact, and builds practical tools for change.
Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)
Supports self-compassion, especially if you tend to be hard on yourself or carry a lot of responsibility for others.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
Helps us understand the deeper emotional patterns that shape how you experience stress, relationships, and connection.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
Helps process distressing or overwhelming experiences that continue to feel “stuck” or emotionally intense. EMDR can reduce the impact of past experiences without needing to talk through every detail.
What Therapy Can Help With
I work with adults navigating:
Life transitions and identity changes
Social anxiety and avoidance
Caregiving stress and burnout
Anxiety, overthinking, and overwhelm
Grief, uncertainty, and emotional exhaustion
Past experiences that still feel present
What You Can Expect
Therapy with me is warm, steady, and collaborative.
Clients often say they feel:
Understood without needing to over-explain
Supported without pressure or judgment
Gently challenged when helpful
More grounded and clear over time
A Final Thought
Therapy is not about becoming a different person.
It’s about finding a steadier, more compassionate way to move through your life—especially during seasons of change, stress, or uncertainty.
If that’s where you are, we can start there.
